How to import Outlook OST to Windows Live Mail?

1: Steps to Export All Files to PST

Firstly, launch MS Outlook on your system.

Then, go to the File button and click on Import and Export option.

Choose the Export to file option from a list, and then, click Next button.

Then, choose Personal File Folder (.pst) and click on Next button

After that, go to Parent root and select Include sub-folders option

At last, browse the selected target folder and click on Finish tab.

2: Archive Method

You can also choose the Archive method to export OST file to PST file. You have to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Firstly, open the MS Outlook Application on the Computer System.

Then, go to File and click on Archive option

Then, select the files or folders for the archive.

Browse the location to save all the archived files into PST.

At last, click on Finish button.

In this method, all offline files are moved from OST file to online PST except the contacts.

3: Forward Email Method

If you don’t want to export many items, in this case, you can only email the selected items to a private email address by following steps:

Firstly, select particular items, which you want to keep.

Then, right click on selected items and then, click on the Forward option.

In case of multiple items, drag items to one folder and compress them into zipping file.

Now, you can forward items to any personal email account.

4: Moving to New PST File

You can move mailbox items to new PST file by using this technique. Follow the following steps:

First, open MS Outlook application.

Then, in a user, create a new PST file.

At last, drag the multiple folders, to a new PST file.
